CLIMATE
Perfect degree of maturity
- Rain in winter and drought in summer
- The temperature changes in the area between day and night allow the vines to reach the perfect degree of ripeness. These are the ideal conditions for the good development of the tempranillo: an area with high sunlight but with cold night temperatures. This thermal amplitude is also very important in white varieties, providing aromas and freshness to the wine.
- The Lebeig wind that we have in this area helps to keep the climate cooler, reduces the amount of diseases in the vineyard and, in the case of still wines, allows us to postpone the start of the harvest.
- Most of our estate is located in a valley surrounded by forests, which not only give it a unique charisma but also protect it from the area's cold winters.
